Alfa Romeo wants to get in touch with its artistic side and so at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show will display again the concept car, but this time with a different color and not the 4C mid-engine sports coupe. But let's go back to the color. The carmaker decided on the "Fluid Metal" because, apparently it defines the lines of the car. No matter what the reason is, the important thing is that it looks much better than the washed out matte red we saw in the first place at the Geneva Salon. The model features a 1.75-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is situated behind the passenger cabin and can deliver 200 horsepower. The power is being sent to the wheels through a twin clutch automatic gearbox. Many of the body parts are made of carbon fiber so that the car can keep weight at a low level. The carmaker declared that the concept car is capable of reaching a top speed of 250 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5.0 seconds. The model will be sent for production starting 2012.
