The Italian carmaker Fiat revealed today the new generation 2012 Panda. The model will have its premiere at the upcoming event next month in Frankfurt. The car first appeared 13 years ago and this new model is living proof of the technologic evolution and also when it comes to the styling things are not bad at all. The new Panda will be a very practical car that will offer a lot of space for its passengers and also will have a lot of space for their luggage as well. The dimensions of the vehicle are: 3650 mm in length, 1640 mm in width and 155 mm in height. There is not a big difference between this version and the previous one. The 2012 model features a new convex bonnet, re-styled vertical rear lights and new headlights with Daytime Running lights. On the inside features a front passenger seat backrest that can even fold into a table, a new dashboard, and splitting and sliding back seats. When it comes to the engine, the model will have either a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo engine that will be able to deliver 85 horsepower, a 0.9-liter Aspirated TwinAir one that can develop 65 horsepower or a 1.2-liter Fire unit that can produce 69 horsepower. The diesel range of the new Panda will feature a 1.3-liter MultiJet ll with Start&Stop that will deliver 75 horsepower. Last but not least, the carmaker will sell the 2012 model with a bifuel 0.9 TwinAir Turbo Natural Power that will develop 80 horsepower or a 1.2 EasyPower that will be able to generate 69 horsepower. But this last one will be available later. On the equipment list we can find 4 airbags, a Hi-Fi system, the Blue&MeTomTom LIVE system, ABS and an electric sun roof.
