For the Frankfurt Auto Show the Fiat Group prepared the convertible variant of the Chrysler 200 re-branded, not like for the Geneva Salon in March where the Italian carmaker prepared both the sedan and convertible variants of the Lancia Flavia.
So far we've heard that only the open top model of the Flavia will be sent to production and this is because the costs of adding a diesel engine are quite high.
Fiat is going through a period of decline mostly because the absence of a diesel option. The convertible is a great opportunity to attract buyers even it only has a gasoline engine. At the auto event next month, the convertible version of the Lanci Flavia will be displayed. The model features a 2.4-liter gasoline engine that can produce 175 horsepower. The wheels receive the power through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Lancia has a long list of equipment including electronic stability control and traction, leather upholstery, a big number of airbags, a Boston Acoustic Sound System and the Uconnect multimedia system that is completed by a satellite navigation system.
