The MINI Cooper SD was tested

The convertible version of the diesel MINI Cooper SD was tested by Fifth Gear. The model has both coupe and convertible body styles as it's powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine like the Countryman SD and the Clubman SD.
As a matter of fact, this is the biggest engine MINI has ever fitted on one of its models. It can deliver 105 kW/143 horsepower at 4.000 rpm and 305 Nm of torque from 1.750 rpm to 2.700 rpm. The convertible version of the MINI Cooper SD can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 130 mph. The coupe version can reach 62 mph in 8.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 134 mph.
The model is a sports diesel car that means it has low fuel consumption. The numbers indicate 62.8 mpg for the convertible and 65.7 mpg for the coupe model.
