The Spyder version of the new Urban Concept was revealed last night by Audi

The German carmaker Audi was a little in a rush and revealed their spyder version of the new Urban concept last night with only a few hours before the Auto Show.
This city car offered by Audi offers open air motoring and no CO2 emissions. The Spyder features two electric motors that are able to deliver 20 horsepower and 47 Nm of torque. The power is being received from a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery that can offer a range of up to 73 km.
At a closer look when it comes to the figures, you might say it's not really that impressive, but for the city use, it's enough. The Audi Urban Concept Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in around 16 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 100 km/h as this is its speed limit. This is quite fast, when you think that in most European cities the limit is 50 km/h-60 km/h.
We don't know yet if Audi will send the Spyder version of the concept to production or not.
