There is a lot of tension between Suzuki and VW

VW and Suzuki have a lot of conflicts since the Germans acquired a 19.9 % of the Japanese carmaker's shares two years ago in December under a strategic cooperation. So far, the problems they've had were kept inside.
Now, the whole" scandal" is out in the open after VW decided to make it public as the two companies don't even "talk" to each other.
The reason of the disputes apparently comes from the fact that Suzuki broke the contract agreement by purchasing diesel engines from Fiat. The Germans didn't say anything about Fiat, but Suzuki had just signed a deal with Fiat Group to buy its diesel engines.
This recent deal comes in the middle of the agreement VW and Suzuki had. So, now, the Japanese carmaker will have several weeks to fix this problem.
The Germans declared that they feel sorry they've had to take this kind of measures and more than that, they still think Suzuki is a good investment. The final decision was not taken yet, but the cooperation agreement is moving slower and slower.
We don't have any statements from Suzuki yet on the matter.
