The Mercedes F125 concept will be in Frankfurt

Mercedes was a little in a rush and revealed the first images of the F125. The model will have its debut today in Frankfurt at the Auto Show.
The concept is actually a design study, but many styling features will be part of the future production models. At a closer look the model reminds you of the Mercedes CL as it's a two-door coupe. In the end it will probably be a four-door sedan that will have a really big luggage compartment.
The model is powered by an electric drivetrain and because it's made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and aluminum, only weights 1.700 kg.
Also, the carmaker fitted the F125 with a hydrogen fuel-cell that offers extra electricity to the electric motor. The model is able to deliver 231 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds reaching a top speed of 137 mph. The car has a 620 miles range. The fuel consumption is rated at 74 mpg (hydrogen gas).
We'll have more details soon.
