Subaru revealed the new XV SUV

Subaru presented yesterday at the Auto Show in Frankfurt the new XV SUV. The model will go on sale starting this year, in November. Details on the price were not revealed, but the first units will be delivered starting with the beginning of 2012.
The SUV it's a five-seater and needs a road clearance of at least 220 mm. It measures 4.450 mm in length, 1.780 mm in width, 1.570 mm in height and a 2.635 mm wheelbase. The carmaker offers a choice between two boxer petrol engines, a 1.6-liter and a 2.0-liter and also a 2.0-liter boxer diesel engine. The XV SUV will feature a CVT Lineartronic gearbox and an Auto Start/Stop system.
The car has a big compartment for the luggage. On the inside has the carmaker's Multi-Function Display system that is integrated into the instrument panel that also includes 4.3-inch full-color LCD. When it comes to the exterior, the model features its hexagon grille and hawk eye headlights and also a new set of wheels.
Safety is also a matter the carmaker thought about and so equipped the XV with several SRS airbags and a VDC system.
