Fiat has a lot of success with the Panda and still has. The carmaker built over 2 million units. Despite all these, the model was left a little behind because of the design. The engineers have tried everything to increase sales, even equipping it with Euro 5 engines, but nothing worked. Finally, the carmaker has released a new model called the Panda as a replacement. This one had its world debut at the Auto Show in Frankfurt. There are not a lot of changes when it comes to the body shape, but the design made it look like a Fiat 500, a more serious version. The entry level car will have 875 cc 2-cylinder engine that will be able to deliver 65 horsepower, but you will also have another option; a turbocharged engine with 85 horsepower as an output. There will also be a 1.2-liter unit available. For the ones with other kind of preferences, Fiat offers a 1.3-liter Multijet unit that will have 75 horsepower as output. The production will start this year and so are the deliveries. Source: autoevolution
