VW tried to show us the future of the new Up

At this year's IAA Show in Frankfurt, Volkswagen is getting ready to create the future versions of the new Up. This design study we'll tell you about it's the VW cross up and with this name, the German carmaker continues with the name strategy that also created the CrossPolo and the CrossGolf. For the production version we can only assume it will be called Volkswagen CrossUp.
The model features a new C-pillar, new air intake, a new front grille, integrated fog lights, a silver cross-bar in the front, wheel arch extensions, dark side skirt extensions and new bumpers. Also the cross up will get underbody protection and a 15 mm higher ground clearance.
The carmaker offers 16-inch alloy wheels, 185 tires and roof rails; a "Tornado red" exterior finish that you can also find on the inside.
Sales for the model will start in 2012.
