Engineers have already started working at the 2013 Range Rover next generation. One of the prototypes was spotted during some tests. It is a little too early to have any information on the model, but we do know it will be built on a new aluminum chassis. This newly developed chassis could only mean one thing: weight reduction. Rumors say that the 2013 Range Rover will actually be 900 lbs lighter than the model we find it now on the market. The weight reduction also reduces the fuel consumption and the CO2 emission level. This way, the handling will also be affected, but in the good way. When it comes to the design, we could expect different updates like new headlights and LED daytime running lights, a new set of alloys, new grille and a new front bumper. We'll keep you updated and we'll come with more information as soon as possible. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
