New information on the VW-Suzuki fight that it's happening for months now, are available. Even though, so far we had no response from the Germans, time has come to see what they have to say. VW was accused of insulting its so called "partner". The German carmaker declared that they have tried and done everything they could to keep the partnership in good conditions and that Suzuki took the decision of collaboration with Fiat without saying anything and buying their diesel engines. The 19.9% VW has in Suzuki will stay with VW and it seems they have no intention of selling even if its CEO is waiting for a separation. Daniel Schwarz, an analyst at Frankfurt's Commerzbank AG is pessimist and thinks this conflict has no chance and that the 20-month agreement has come to an end. Everything indicates the partnership will become part of the history. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
