Honda reveals the price for its Natural Gas 2012 Civic

The ones who feel would look good in a 2012 Honda Civic, the Natural Gas version, now they know how much they have to pay for one. This new model is the one replacing the Civic GX and will appear in showrooms starting October 18th. The price will start from $26.155 / EUR19.543 and will be added another $750 destination charge. The models equipped with navigation system will cost a bit more and the price will go up to $27.655 / EUR20.664.
The new version of the Civic will be powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder powerplant. The power will be sent to the wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission that will increase the fuel efficiency (12.5% city fuel economy and 5.5% highway efficiency) in comparison with the model it replaces.
Also, the engine comes with an increased compression ratios, strong connecting rods, new fuel injectors and crankshaft and pistons. The list continues with intake and exhaust valves and valve seats as well that use a fuel tank that is placed between the rear wheels, of 3600 psi.
According to Honda, this model is perfect for places like California, as the legislation encourages the use of this kind of vehicles, giving them access to HOV lanes.
