California will test a new law concerning damaged cars

California always comes up with all kinds of ideas regarding the automotive world. This time, they want to emit a new law that will require dealers to put red warning stickers on salvager cars put up for sale.
Next year in July, the law will go on effect and in this category are involved any vehicles labeled in the National Vehicle Title Information System as being damaged by flood or junked when it is put up for sale by no matter if it's a new or used car dealer.
The ones that agree with this idea, firs want to test it, to see how it works in California before the whole nation adopts it. From the other side, car dealers don't really see the point of this law as anyway, customers have all the information they need about the car in the papers when they purchase it. This law, in the dealers' opinion is totally worthless and they believe it is a waste of time.
We'll just have to wait and see how things go the next few months.
