Sebastian Vettel is writing history. He finished third in last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix and managed to become the 2011 F1 World Champion for the second time in a row. He is the youngest driver (with only 24 years old) to ever win the World Championship back-to-back. The previous record holder was Michael Schumacher, who was actually the first one to congratulate Vettel for his success, completing his victory lap. The next winners for this year's Japanese Grand Prix are Jensen Button who won 1st place, Fernando Alonso who came in second and last, but not least Sebastian Vettel, who came in third. At the beginning of his career, Vettel entered a reserve driver for the BMW team. Now, BMW Motorsport Director, Jens Marquardt congratulated the driver, alongside Renault, which actually was the manufacturer, who supplied the engine for his winning race car. It's almost a known fact that Sebastian Vettel will continue to race for the Red Bull team next year as well as he only brought success. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
