Hyundai launched the Eon in India

Hyundai is very hard to stop when it comes to new projects. For example, now, in India, the South Korean carmaker revealed the new Eon city car. So far, the hatch is Hyundai's smallest model and will soon compete against the best-selling car in the country, the Maruti-Suzuki Alto as it will be built in India.
The new Eon is a very compact vehicle measuring 3.495 mm long, 1.500 mm tall, 1.550 mm wide and it has a 2.380 mm wheelbase.
The design was created at Hyundai's Namyang R&D center in South Korea and has a lot of the elements the carmaker is trying now like the "Fluidic Sculpture" styling language.
The Eon features a 0.8-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that is able to produce 56 horsepower and 74.5 Nm of torque. The average fuel consumption is 21.1 km/l. The power is being sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
The carmaker offers six trim levels and the price is ranging from $5.515 for the base model and $7.595 for the top line model.
Hyundai expects to sell 140.000 units / year in India.
