BMW with its MINI brand will soon launch the company's smaller premium models starting 2012. Their debut will take place in India. Even though India is a country where a new MINI was created, the Indian market was missing something. The Germans decided to add another important market to the list and so, announced that they will launch the "mini" MINI in India from next year. The firm plans to create standalone dealerships for the MINI brand and so it will open a dealership in Delhi and another one in Mumbai. In only a few years, we will have 12 dealerships throughout the country. The price for one unit stands somewhere around $51.000 and this means is 20 times the price of the cheapest Tata Nano. The German carmaker is a little undecided regarding the versions to be launched in India. They also have to finalize the price, to stop the confusion between customers, but of course, they assure us, the entry price will be more than $51.000.
