Volvo got ready for competition and apparently, it will soon reveal the V60 Plug-in Hybrid; maybe we will be able to find it on the market starting next year. Stefan Jacoby, President and CEO of Volvo Car Corporation declared that they are doing everything they can to create cars that are friends with the environment, but also that society is responsible for a sustainable future. This model is the result of an agreement that was born back in 2007 between the Swedish carmaker and energy supplier, Vattenfall. In this formation, the V12 Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Partnership HB was created. Before entering the market, the carmaker will equip it with an all-electric range of 50 km. The situation changes when it will be on a full tank; the V60 will be able to run for 1200 km. The CO2 emissions will indicate somewhere around 49 g/km and the fuel consumption will be 1.9 l/100 km. So far, so good, but we'll see more next year.
