Vauxhall will sell the Opel Combo in Britain

Vauxhall will sell under its brand the Opel Combo staring next year. The starting price for the model is GBP 14.703. This one features a L1H1 2000 1.3CDTI 16v engine that delivers 90 PS.
The car is actually the result of the collaboration between GM Europe and the Fiat Group. It has as base the Fiat Doblo.
The available dimensions of the van include two lengths, 4.39m and 4.74m, two heights, 1.85m and 2.10m, two gross vehicle weights, 2000kg and 2.300 kg, two trim levels and four diesel engine options.
The engine range includes a 1.3-liter CDTi engine and a 1.6-liter CDTi one, each being able to produce 90 horsepower, but also a 1.6-liter CDTi engine that can deliver 105 PS and a stronger 2.0-liter CDTi that can produce 135 horsepower.
The power produced by the 1.3 CDTi is being sent to the wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and from the 1.6 CDTi and the 2.0 CDTi through a six-speed manual gearbox. Actually, the 1.6 CDTi also features Techshift automated 5-speed manual gearbox.
Apart from the model equipped with the Techshift transmission, all the other engines have a Start/Stop system to reduce the CO2 emissions and the fuel consumption.
The carmaker also offers remote central door locking, trip computer, electric power steering, full-steel bulkhead, driver's airbag, a 12 volt power outlet in the dashboard and ABS with EBD and CD/radio.
The list with new elements does not stop here. The model also features air conditioning, metallic paint, full wheel covers, armrest and lumbar support and also driver seat with height adjustment.
