The Fiat 500 is having difficulties managing the American market so it uses every opportunity it gets to do it. Jennifer Lopez did her best, but apparently dancing around it and driving it in front of a camera is not very helpful. The information we have just received will surprise you a little. It seems like the Fiat 500 has just earned the IIHS Top Safety pick award. The results of a lot of tests indicated the fact that the vehicle behaved very well in front, side and rear impact. It had received an award for offering the ESP as standard as well. The fans shouldn't get their hopes very high as the rating is available only for the models built after July 2011. Why? Well, because the driver's seat was changed to be able to upgrade safety in case of frontal and rear impact. In the end it doesn't matter if only the models that were built this year got the great review; it's a good start for the next ones.
