Porsche will start the production of the Cajun in 2013

Porsche made a huge EUR 500 million investment involving its Leipzig plant in Germany. If this doesn't get your attention, we're sure that knowing the Porsche Cajun will be sent to production in late 2013 will wake up your interest.
The sketch revealed indicates an agile compact crossover that will dominate rivals like the Mercedes GLK, the BMW X3 and the Range Rover Evoque.
So far we do not have a lot of information. Actually, the sketch was the only one revealed. We could remind you about the previous unofficial reports, though that indicate that the model will have petrol and diesel engines, but there is also a hybrid version.
The base model will probably have a 2.0-liter TFSI that will produce 223 horsepower. This model will be followed by a V6 supercharged that will produce somewhere between 300 and 350 horsepower.
Concerning the diesel version, we can only assume it will have a 2.0-liter TDI with 200 horsepower as output, but also a 3.0-liter V6 TDI power plant that will produce 250 horsepower to 314 horsepower.
Last but not least, the hybrid version could include a TFSI petrol engine with 211 horsepower output and an electric motor that will produce 44 horsepower.
