Toyota Prius is no longer a mystery

A picture containing the Toyota Prius C was revealed. This model is actually one we are not supposed to see yet. But thanks to the technology, everything is possible. The model was revealed to us at the beginning of the year in a concept form.
We can say, the good news is that it looks nothing like the concept, but offers a lot of sporty lines for a Toyota hybrid. There were not made a lot of investments in the interior, but this is not necessary a bad thing, as customers will have the opportunity to really afford a hybrid.
The model is powered by a 1.4-liter gasoline that can produce 74 horsepower and 111 Nm of torque. The car also features an electric motor that produces 61 horsepower and 169 Nm of torque. The combined output is 100 horsepower that are being sent to the front wheels through a CVT.
The fuel consumption on the combined Japanese test cycle indicates 35.4 km/l and this means 2.8 l / 100 km on the US.
The world debut for the Prius C will take place at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show in December and the US version will be made public at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
