The Brabus Mercedes CL500 4MATIC and the S500 4MATIC have been announced

At the 2011 Essen Motor Show, Brabus will reveal the Brabus Mercedes CL500 4MATIC and the Brabus Mercedes S500 4MATIC, but today it announced them. As a matter of fact, Brabus presented their power kit specially made for Mercedes. The standard version features a 4.7-liter eight-cylinder twin turbo engine that can deliver 435 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Actually, both CL500 and S500 have the same engine.
After being equipped with the BRABUS B50 - 490 PowerXtra, the two will be able to deliver 490 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque. After the touch of the BRABUS B50 - 520 PowerXtra, the models will be able to produce 520 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque.
Both, the Brabus Mercedes CL500 4MATIC and the Brabus Mercedes S500 4MATIC will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and even reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
The tuner also offers a new aerodynamics package that includes a new front spoiler, new rear bumper, a rear spoiler and side skirts with LED. The list continues with 18-, 21- and 22-inch light alloy wheels that have different designs, YOKOHAMA, Pirelli and Continental tires, bigger brakes and a sportier suspension system.
The price of the variants was not revealed yet.
