Fisker received the approval for building the Karma and will start doing this in the US. The electric vehicle sedan obtained the certification from the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) at the beginning of this year. The Karma is powered by tow electric motors at the back with the power coming from a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that manages to drive a generator. This generator produces the energy in return. The EPA tests have revealed that the all-electric range of the car is 32 miles. We have to admit this is not really that impressive, but there is the possibility it will influence sales in the United States. Henrik Fisker, CEO and co-founder of Fisker Automotive said that they only needed the certification, because now, thanks to it they managed to sell their first cars. Apparently, the production of the Karma is in its best period and because of the strong dealer network, Fisker said they can deliver a lot of units to customers until the end of this year and also in the next ones as these cars are absolutely amazing.
