We are used to see carmakers take advantage of everything a retro car has to offer. Peugeot is the manufacturer that now created a great successor for the 2CV. Different reports indicate the fact that the model will be situated somewhere between the C1 and C3, will use the 3CV designation and could arrive on the market in 2013. Apparently, Citroen has bigger plans and decided to create a link between the car and its DS premium range and so, offers a different designation. We expect the model to use a hybrid powertrain and to ride on the company's PF1 platform. Just take a look back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show when the French carmaker revealed the Revolte Concept. The car had as base the 2CV. It seems that Citroen has big plans and it will launch several models, starting with the DS3 convertible and then, continuing with a DS4 crossover and a DS6 that will replace the C6.
