Subaru had revealed the 2012 Impreza G4 in its sedan form and Sport when it comes with five doors. This happened six months ago in North America and only now it will be revealed on the local market.
The carmaker is not very good at keeping secrets, because the official debut should be on November 30th and we saw a lot of the car so far.
The Impreza G4 first debuted with a 2.0-liter engine that is able to deliver 150 horsepower in the Japanese market. This is not all. The carmaker also offered a smaller 1.6-liter that apparently can produce 115 horsepower. The power could be sent to the wheels through a five-speed manual transmission or Subaru's Lineartronic CVT. We do have pictures, but the Japanese carmaker was a little reserved when it came to revealing details about the powertrain and others.
But in two months time we'll be able to tell you more.
