At a first look you may think this car is from a movie screen, but actually, the Scion xB is one of the strange, crazy projects created to impress. This one in particular wants to create sensation between the visitors of next week's 2011 SEMA Show in Vegas.
To be more precise, the name of the models is Scion xB Numeric and is the result of the collaboration between several companies; the 686, a premium snowboarding outerwear brand, Spin Imaging, a company that takes care of vehicle wraps and graphics and Scion racing are the ones involved.
The idea for the project came from 686's products, even from the waterproof and breathable snowboarding outwear. You can find these last ones in stitched panels, laser welded seams and a waterproof zipper.
We still have to wait for the reaction of the public. But it will be a positive one, for sure.
