Renault launched the Pulse on the Asian market

This week, Renault was a little busy launching the Pulse on the Asian market. The model was created in India and will go on sale in January starting 2012. The designers thought a lot about the young generation during the creation phase because clients were asking for a car to go around town.
The car is powered by a 1.5-liter dCi engine that has very low fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions are as well, at a low level.
The new Pulse features different equipments like smart access key, automatically folding side mirrors and different other features that are new in this segment. Actually, the carmaker admitted the fact that their Formula 1 activities are "responsible" for the 1.5 dCi engine.
Of course, the chances of that being true are a little low; it's a little hard to imagine the RS27 F1 engine in the Pulse.
The new model will have its world debut at the New Delhi Motor Show at the beginning of next year. Maybe we will find out the price then.
