The Chevrolet Colorado will be built by GM in its plant in Missouri

General Motors announced the fact that its midsize pickup truck will be produced at its Wentzville Assembly plant in Missouri.
It seems that the carmaker will invest approximately $ 380 million in preparing the factory for the new line and also it will create around 1.260 jobs.
Chevrolet celebrates 100 years of existence and Cathy Clegg, GM vice president of Labor Relations said it's a perfect timing. The carmaker revealed the Thai market version of the new Colorado that has as base an all-new midsize truck architecture development by the company's Brazilian arm.
So far, GM is keeping everything for itself concerning the technical specs, but rumors say the new Colorado will be offered in two variants: crew cab and extended cab, in 4WD regular and 2WD.
