The Passat CC will have its world debut at the 2011 LA Auto Show

Not long ago we heard that the VW Passat CC will be revealed at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. Now, we know it was true. The hard part comes next.
At a first look it's a little different from what we were expecting. It doesn't have the subtle curves like the first generation and so it's just like any other Passat, but more modern.
Let's go in deeper details. The 2013 CC has new headlights with LED daytime runners and also a new grille. In the rear features LED tailpipes, fresh bumper and boot lid lines.
The model created for the US will be powered by a 2.0-liter TSI able to deliver 200 horsepower and also by a bigger one, a 3.6-FSI V6 with 280 horsepower.
For the European model there were made no changes to the engine, just that all diesels have a Stop/Start systems and battery regeneration mode as standard.
In Germany will be launched a facelifted version of the Passat CC.
