Fiat revealed the Palio back in 1977, but by then it was just a trim designation. In 1997 it became very successful after its debut on the Brazilian market. Until now 2.5 million units have been sold. Four years ago, in 2007, the model received a facelift and only a month ago, the all-new generation Palio was revealed. The design of the car was modified in line with the other Fiat modes by Centro Stile Fiat in Italy. The carmaker offers four choices when it comes to the engine: from a 1.0-liter to a 1.6-liter. The first one delivers 73 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque. The 1.4-liter EVO develops 85 horsepower. The one you want for sure is a 1.6-liter Palio Sport with a 16-valve engine, black surrounds, a blacked out spoiler and incredible alloy wheels, stylish body decals, grills on the side and dual barrel exhaust pipes. The 1.6-liter 16v can produce 115 horsepower. The car features cruise control, windshield heater, CD player with MP3 and iPod/USB input, fog lamps, back hatch Logo push, switchblade key with remote control, twilight and rain sensors, gear-shift butterfly-type switch on the wheel, lateral and frontal airbags, ABS brakes and leather steering wheel with radio control.
