The Chrysler Group gives the law enforcement and other emergency agencies the possibility to ask for the new Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 Special Service package. This model is actually the follower of the Dodge Charger Pursuit. Apparently the 1500 police-decked, features different types of equipment created and adapted to heavy-duties as the 100.000-mile sparkplugs, a larger oil cooler and 220-amp alternator. The Ram 1500 Special Service truck, but only in a Crew Cab configuration, is powered by the company's 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that is able to produce 390 horsepower and 407 lb. ft. of torque. The power is being sent to all four wheels through an automatic six-speed transmission with standard ESC. The police truck can now be ordered through the Chrysler Group Fleet sales division. The carmaker did a very good job building this model.
