Subaru will be at this year's Tokyo Auto Show that will take place on November 30th presenting several models. One of them is the new Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept that is believed to catch a lot of attention. Also, the Subaru BRZ STI Concept, the 5-door 2012 Impreza Sport and the S206 will also be there.
The concept mentioned above has a very special design and it previews a future C-segment sports wagon, which promises both utility and a high-performance driving experience. The model has a lot of interior space measuring 4.580 mm in length, 1.840 mm in width and 1.430 mm in height.
The model will be powered by the Horizontally-Opposed Subaru Boxer engine with direct fuel injection and also has Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive technology. The Hybrid Electric Vehicle technology is very important in the process of development of the new Advanced Tourer as it is equipped with a Lithium-ion battery. Featuring this, the car will be able to consume less and pollute less. The power will be sent to all wheels through a Lineartronic CVT gearbox.
The design includes the glass roof, wood and metal styling inserts and also a special steering wheel that is fitted with a large screen for displaying maps, Internet information and TV programs. The Advanced Tourer Concept features the Subaru's EyeSight driving assist system that was made public last year in May.
