General Motors announced the fact that their Chevrolet Trailblazer mid-size SUV will enter production for global markets starting next year. The first country that will enjoy the model will be Thailand. This week at the Dubai International Motor Show we will have the opportunity to see the first official photos of the pre-production study. The model has as base the new Chevrolet Colorado mid-size pickup truck and actually, there are not a lot of new elements to show, except the lights, bumper and alloy wheels and also some trim pieces inside. But, on the other hand, the Trailblazer has a conventional body-on-frame structure that offers more off-road capabilities. In the same time the on-road ride comfort and the handling are reduced. We have no information on the powertrain, but we're guessing one ore more gasoline units like the Colorado. There is the possibility the US will not see the Trailblazer, like the Colorado which was built and sold in the States. Source: carscoopblogspot
