Mitsubishi will reveal the Concept PX-MiEV II

This year at the Tokyo Auto Show Mitsubishi will reveal the Concept PX-MiEV II, a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV. Actually, the carmaker says this model will be able to offer a long cruising distance.
The car will use a hybrid system. This means it will be powered by a 2.0-liter MIVEC 4-cylinder petrol engine and two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. Each of them will be able to produce 60 kW and in the meantime, the internal combustion engine will deliver 70 kW.
The PX-MiEV II has a range of more than 50 km on electricity and it can travel for 800 km in hybrid mode. Its fuel consumption is rated at 60 km/l. The car can work in Battery Drive Mode, so it uses the electric motor only, or in Battery Charge Mode, to do what you think it will do.
Also the concept uses the S-AWC advanced traction control system that is known since the Evolution X. This system is matted to a special twin-motor four-wheel-drive system, so that it offers better levels of handling.
It's not sure yet, but the PX-MiEV II will probably be sent to production soon.
