Mitsubishi has a lot of surprises prepared for us. For example, at this year's Tokyo Auto Show, the carmaker will present to the public the 2013 Mitsubishi Mirage. The model was unveiled today before its world debut.
The Mirage was built for the first time in 1978, but stopped in 2002. Now, the engineers have created a new version of the Mirage that has a great design and uses the latest technologies.
The model is powered by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder MIVEC and the engine is also equipped with the new Auto Stop & Go system. This is used to reduce the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions.
The power is being sent to the front wheels through a CVT transmission. The 2013 model is a small, five-door hatchback that offers enough space and room for all passengers. When it comes to aerodynamics, well, the Mitsubishi team took care of it.
Sales will begin next year in March, but there is no information on the price yet.
