Lexus presented the 2013 model, GS 250

Lexus revealed the 2013 GS 250 model, before its world debut that will take place this year at the 2011 Guangzhou Motor Show. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the new model starting June, next year, but nobody knows for how much.
For the exterior, we have to admit, it is not a lot different from the other versions of the model.
Anyway, the car features a 2.5-liter 24-valve V6 engine that is able to deliver 206 bhp at 6.400 rpm and 253 Nm of torque at 4.800 rpm. This V6 is equipped with Dual VVT-I technology with D-4S direct port injection and the power is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed sequential-shift, intelligent electronically controlled automatic transmission.
The new GS 250 can reach a top speed of 142 mph. The level of the fuel consumption is 31.7 mpg and the CO2 emissions are around 207 g/km. The carmaker declared that the 250 is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.6 seconds.
The driving modes offered by the transmission are Eco, Normal and Sport through the Drive Mode Select System.
The carmaker also offers a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, an S-flow air conditioning system with air purifying technology and Mark Levinson audio system with up to 17 speakers. This is not all. Lexus equipped the 250 with its Pre-Crash Safety system, for extra safety, with the Lane Keep Assist, its Night Vision system, and the Blind Spot Monitor.
When it comes to the price, we are still in the dark.
