The 2012 Nissan GT-R was tested. The engineers focused on the 0-60 mph acceleration time. It seemed that it was 2.72 seconds. During the same test the acceleration time from 0 to 100 mph was 2.84 seconds. It's not very sure, but apparently the tests were conducted in Japan by third party testers. It the results are real, the Nissan GT-R is in fact, the fastest acceleration production car, excluding, of course, the Bugatti Veyron. We'll know for sure when Nissan will make everything official. The 2013 model was improved in comparison with the previous version and now has more power and it's easier to handle. The model is able to produce 550 PS and 632 Nm of torque. This means it delivers 20 horsepower and 20 Nm of torque more than the previous version. Other carmakers should be a little worried because of this supercar.
