Apparently, Chrysler is very busy building a new generation of the Viper, but "don't worry", it will arrive only next year. All the waiting and wondering made enthusiasts do, rather strange things.
For example, in case of the car in the photo gallery, the racing model was transformed into a street-legal one. The project was under the supervision of Heurich Classics, a German company. They have received a rather special order from the owner of a 1998 Zakspeed Racing Dodge Viper GTS-R. He wanted to have a street-legal replica of the Hasseroder Viper GTS-R that won in 1999 the 24 hours of Nurburgring.
The modification had to follow very strict regulations like adding a hand brake, the removal of the rear diffuser, the addition of street tires and an increase of the steering angle.
The car features a 6.2-liter engine that is able to deliver 600 horsepower and weights 1.350 kg, so you can imagine the feeling you have when inside.
