Rinspeed presented their new project

Rinspeed, Swedish carmaker and tuning designer has a lot of imagination. Living proofs are the 600 horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo, the Lotus Elise and the BamBoo EV.
The tuner is thinking of launching another concept next year at the Geneva Salon in March.
They will try to solve the problem all electric vehicles have, the restricted range. The tuner decided to work on the Smart ForTwo for displaying its solution. To be more precise, they have created the Dock+Go. It looks like a trailer that dock to the rear of the car. It can be fitted with a combustion engine, a range extender a fuel cell or even a battery pack.
The tuner offers this package not only to the range-extending Vario-Hybrid, but can be fitted with a variety of packages starting with integrated heated box suitable for pizza delivery, camping, golf, skiing or a toolbox.
This idea is quite ingenious and funny.
