Japanese carmaker, Toyota, declared that the GT 86 is a pure rear-wheel drive sports car that is very easy to drive. To prove it, included drift tests in its development program. In the end, the production version could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and could reach a top speed of 230 km/h.
The ones who had the chance to drive the 86 declared that it was not that special and that it didn't have so much power. A few weeks ago, the carmaker revealed the Toyota Racing Development version of the car with a more aggressive body kit.
Not long ago, Tetsuo Tada, Toyota chief engineer confirmed the fact that they are actually working on a more powerful version of the GT 86. They are trying to increase the power with around 50 horsepower, which can be easy to do.
