The Audi A3 is being tested in Sweden

The Audi A3 hatchback was tested in Argentina by the engineers from Ingolstadt. Now, the three-door premium compact model is doing the same thing, but this time, in northern Sweden.
The new model, S3 will be powered by different 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline and diesel turbocharged engines and the RS3, by an even more powerful inline-five. Another option will be the 140 horsepower turbocharged 1.4-liter TFSI gasoline engine that has a cylinder deactivation system that reduces the fuel consumption and reduces the emissions by enabling the engine to work on two cylinders on partial loads.
The three-door hatchback is not the only body style the carmaker is offering as there are also a four-door sedan and a two-door convertible model. The exterior aspect will be edgier.
The model will probably have its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Salon in March. Sales will start sometime next year as well. Source: carscoopblogspot
