Mercedes-Benz announce a lot of time ago the fact that it will soon update its G-Class series and present new AMG models. Time has come to see what is this all about and the two models were spotted during some tests in Europe.
The cars are actually the G63 and the G65. The first one will be powered by a 5.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that will be able of producing 525 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The G65 AMG on the other hand will be powered by a 6.0-liter bi-turbocharged V12 engine that will deliver 612 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.
The changes made refer to the exterior, but also to the restyled front bumper with extra air-vents and different designs for the exterior mirrors and wheels.
The interior will also get some improvements as the carmaker will equip it with a more modern instrument panel that has a pair of gauges and a different center console.
