It appears that plans for a successor to today's M3 Coupe really exist, although the name and type of engine are debatable. The enthusiasts will have to wait until 2013 to see the high performance model in BMW's dealerships. However, the graphic designer Jacek Kolodziejczyk has used his skills to develop a realistic rendering of the coupe model, the M4, for the anxious fans. The artist, who is thirty years old, borrowed some cues from the M3 sedan prototypes which have been spy photographed over the past few months, while also using several styling elements found on the F30 3-Series sedan. Rumors say that both the next M3 Coupe and Sedan models are planned to replace the current M3's naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 with a smaller six-cylinder engine which makes use of two or three turbochargers for 450 HP, although the German carmaker has not released any specified details on the matter.
