It seems that not everything is milk and honey in the Fiat house. The carmaker lowered its sales target for this year by half a million units, to 2.2 million, as they are sure that the European car market will drop in 2012. Even so, there are important people that want them to sell more than 6 million vehicles a year by 2014. Well, this is a little too much if you ask us. This is actually the forecast of 10 analysts. None of them expects the group to reach this goal and they even consider that the projections for 2012 should be somewhere around 4.9 million sales, and this means 1 million less. Anyway, the only way it could reach this target is by combining Fiat and Chrysler with a player in Asia, where the group is very weak, for example. The carmaker will start building cars in China only from the second half of 2012. Also, it seems that Fiat plans to sell 300.000 cars in Brazil and 130.000 in India by 2014. This is not all. The Italian carmaker is really considering a new investment in Russia.
