Porsche Cayenne diesel makes its Cajun debut in 2013

By the year 2018, Porsche executives forecast to double the sales to around 50,000 units per year. As they are currently focusing on the US market and the new 911 Cabriolet would look great under the beautiful California sun, the Americans' preference remains the SUV. Porsche has recently made an official announcement in a press release that the Cayenne Diesel would arrive in the US dealerships after the 430 HP Panamera GTS, which is also scheduled to arrive later this year. Thus, it should get in the second half of next year and it is expected to cover no more than 15 percent of Porsche's sales, being the first diesel-burning Porsche, powered by the 240 HP 3.0-liter diesel which has already made its appearance in America under the bonnets of the Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg. Another announcement made by the legendary carmaker concerns the Cajun, a smaller SUV, which will be revealed to the enthusiast public in 2013.
