A new special edition version of the Suzuki Grand Vitara, named the Grand Vitara SZ-T, has been launched by the Japanese carmaker in the UK with units limited to 500. The vehicle is based on the five-door model and announces a number of bespoke features, beginning with a tailgate mounted spare wheel, signal lamps for the door mirrors, bonnet side vents, silver colored roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as a different front grille. Furthermore, keyless entry/start, cruise control and unique contrasting seat fabric are other enhancements that were added to the car. As far as powertrain is regarded, the special edition model receives power from Suzuki's Euro 5 1.9-liter DdiS diesel engine that delivers 129 PS together with 300 Nm of peak torque, resulting in a combined fuel economy of 41.5 mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 179 g/km. British customers are now able to order the car model with a starting price of 22,315 pounds, including the metallic paint.
