Acura introduced a new study car the ILX

At the 2012 Motor Show in Detroit, Acura decided to reveal its latest work of art, the new ILX luxury compact sedan beside the star of the event, the NSX Concept. The ILX looks a lot like a production version, except the bumper trims and the alloy wheels. For that matter, the Japanese carmaker scheduled its launch in North America this spring.
The model has as base the Honda Civic, but it features a unique body with pronounced rear wings and special front grille.
The carmaker offered several features like a smart entry keyless access system and a push-button start, SMS text message function and a lot more. The engine lineup includes an entry-level 2.0-liter inline, 4-cylinder, a high-performance 2.4-liter paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-liter gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain.
The price for the model announced by the carmaker will start at somewhere under the $ 30.000 mark and it will be produced at Honda's Indian plant.
