Scion is ready for the Formula DRIFT series

Japanese carmaker, Scion had prepared for the Formula DRIFT series at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We have to admit it was not really a big surprise that it prepared its FR-S rear-wheel drive sports car. The driver will be Ken Gushi.
This model is the result of the partnership between Scion Racing and GReddy. This last one is a Toyota's racing partner for some time now. The engine of the FR-S is capable of delivering 600 horsepower that should be quite enough for the rear wheels.
In the gallery below you can see images of the model and also at a closer look you can see a new body kit that has front winglets and a huge rear wing, fixed windows and also different alloys in low profile tires. On the inside it features racing bucket seats up front, a racing steering wheel and safety roll cage as well.
