Volkswagen presented to the world the Jetta Hybrid

German company, Volkswagen revealed an all-new model at the 2012 Auto Show in Detroit, the Jetta Hybrid. Apparently it is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 9.0 seconds and offers a fuel economy of 5.2 l/100 km.
The model is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that can produce 150 horsepower and 184 lb. ft. of torque, and an electric motor that is able to produce another 27 horsepower thanks to a 1.1 kWh battery. In the end the total power produced is 170 PS. The carmaker matted the engine to a seven-speed dual clutch DSG gearbox. If you are curious what does the model do when it only uses the electric power, well it can speed up to 44 mph and over a distance of around 1.3 miles.
In terms of aerodynamics, the model gets a new front spoiler, a rear diffuser and also a rear spoiler. This is not all. The carmaker also offered new headlamps with LED running lights, LED rear lights and bespoke 15-inch alloys. It has been enhanced with a fresh new exhaust system, an acoustic windscreen and thicker front side windows. The model will be available starting November this year in the US and Canada alone.
